I waged the war as best I could with the little knowledge that I had. My son is now 24 and my daughter now 18. They still struggle, but Proverbs 22:6 of course is still true. I used my conscience as my guide. When my son was in kindergarten, they tried to label him a “rapist” because he kissed a girl on the cheek. When he was in 6th grade, his health class included an actual movie showing homosexual sex between two men, off campus, at a local movie house in St. Louis, Missouri, that he told me about. I immediately fired on the administration, looked for a new neighborhood to move to, but this parasite of deception was too widespread. He did not finish high school-they labeled him the class clown. My daughter was in a “gifted program”, unfortunately, for 6 years. I would not allow her body to be painted with Hindu symbols, would not allow her to participate in “slavery” and “servant” reenactments (from history?), but I was deceived into allowing “them” to do a number on her precious mind. TODAY, neither one has committed a crime except a traffic violation, they are both heterosexual, neither one is on drugs, they both believe in Jesus Christ, but unfortunately, my daughter has an explained hatred for me–REAL hatred, that she admits she cannot explain. I urge you to take heed to this warning. I even home-schooled my daughter from grades 7 thru 9. She marched across her graduation stage pregnant, but she made it! And as I continue to cover her with prayer, satan will release his filthy influence off her, deceiving her into believing that I am her enemy. I raised my children alone in this world, but God was father to all three of us orphans. And I will win the battle that will cause my daughter to raise my granddaughter to know the wisdom and precepts from our precious Savior, by the Authority of Christ Jesus of Nazareth-AMEN.

Finally, you cannot shove religion down people’s throats and hope for a good result. Take my husband — that’s what his parents did. He’s a total atheist now (but the most honest, selfless guy around). (We are 45 and 46 years old.) My family (great-grandparents, actually) raised me with lots of knowledge of the Bible and brought me to church and sent me to Sunday school for several years. But they did not force me to do all this against my will. Nor did they keep me in the dark about conflicting beliefs in the world. As a teen, I was more involved in church than anyone else in the family, and to this day I am still a believer, though not that much of a “churchgoer.” But totally a believer. I really cannot even fathom what could be “enticing” in a way that would cause me to stop believing in God.

Scary stuff. I lost the battle with my kids. They are 19 and 21 now and totally into the world and have rejected God. Too much junk came at them and it was all too enticing.
