An excellent article offering an intelligent biblical response to the environmental debate was recently written by S. Michael Craven of the Center for Christ and Culture.

Mr. Craven provides a thorough examination of the issues from a theologically grounded and well-reasoned approach that seeks to transcend politics.

    Thanks for pointing out the writings of Mike Craven to me. I agree with his lament over Christians not being engaged in the green movement, but I am afraid that some of the very real overstatements which Craven points out that are being made (like Gore’s), are giving many Christians an excuse for doing nothing.

    Behind the loud hollering, there are many quiet and serious concerns and facts happening. By our lack of involvement, we are demonstrating, I’m afraid, a scorn for the continuing work of God, i.e. the Continuing Creation of God..
